English Springer Spaniels are a medium size breed – males are 20 inches tall at the shoulder with weight averaging between 45 to 52 pounds and females are 19 inches, ranging in weight from 35 to 42 pounds. Their compact, medium-size, intelligence, outgoing and adaptable personality make them an excellent choice as a family pet.
