Laurdan Kennels breeds English Springer Spaniels for conformation with an emphasis on excellent health and temperament. Because we naturally rear, feeding an holistic, home-prepared diet, our puppies have calm, easy-going temperaments that make both excellent pets and show dogs.
How Our Springer Family Began...
We purchased our first English Springer Spaniel, an eight week old puppy, in February 1988 and in short order, he became our first champion in November 1989. Our next two Springer puppies were purchased in 1990 and became Ch. Salutaire's Snow Blossom ("Blossom"), a top-ten Springer bitch in 1993 and Ch. Ledgewood's Shooting Star ("Hayley".) Our current Springers descend from both Blossom and Hayley, shown below:

Occasionally specialed Blossom finished 1993 a Top Ten Springer Bitch. She was a multiple specialty BOS and a BOB winner. As a class bitch, she finished her championship with multiple specialty wins.

Hayley finished her championship with two 4 point specialty majors. She is a CH. TELLTALE AUTHOR X CH. STEPNEY CINDERELLA grandaughter. AUTHOR received the Parent Club Sire of the Year Award in 1988 and CINDERELLA received the Show Dam of the Year Award in 1984.
